IANTD Courses
IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver
To
get even more bottom time you can take the IANTD Advanced Nitrox
course. In this course we teach you how to use a tank with 2 valve
openings and 2 regulators (H Valve) for greater safety in the 30-40
meter depth range. If you blow an O-ring - No Problem! We also show
you how to safely perform decompression dives. By using a gas mixture
of 50% oxygen and 50% nitrogen you can do short, safe decompression
stops. The nitrogen in your body from the dive will quickly be eliminated
through your lungs. How about a 30 meter dive for 60 minutes searching
for lost dive gear off the Hardeep?
IANTD Normoxic Trimix Diver
Does
exploring the superstructure of the Vertical Wreck appeal to you.
The IANTD Intermediate (Normoxic) Trimix Diver course allows you
to travel the entire 60 meters of the wreck. We do this by replacing
the nitrogen in your tanks with helium. This new gas, Trimix, reduces
nitrogen narcosis and enables you to think clearly at deeper depths.
You can be at 60 meters and only feel the narcosis of a 30 meter
air dive! All those unexplored vertical wreck rooms (and the 2 Giant
Grouper) at 55 meters are now safely within reach!
